How to Find Free Edu Links

If you’ve been studying SEO for more than a few months you’ll know that Edu backlinks are one of the most important parts of ranking your site high on search engines, but many people find it time consuming to find sites to set them up on.

Now you can use our  tool to quickly and easily find as many free edu links as you want.
And we’ve included .ac.uk and .edu.au results as well as .edu you can get a good mixture of backlinks to your site.  This will make your results look more natural.  Don’t worry too much about them being nofollow links as again this looks more real to the search engines.

Type in a phrase related to your niche into the Free Edu Links Finder eg for this site which is related to SEO I could search for free edu backlinks. This will then pop-up three windows of results containing blogs ending in .edu and the variations mentioned previously.

Click on the links and see which sites you can post comments on. The tool specifically focuses on blogs so that you can post a comment and include you site’s url which will become a backlink form the edu sites.  I would use your name then an @ sign followed by your domain (which should have your main key phrase in it)  eg for this site I would enter my name as keith @ Free Edu Links and my website address as http://freeedulinks.com.

It’s very important that you do not post spam comments – read the blog and find a post that you can relate to then when you commnet use the blog owners name eg Hi Fred.

Don’t just write ‘This is a very interesting post, please write more about this topic’.

That will usually just be deleted as spam, that is what I would do on any of my blogs if I received a comment like that.  Also don’t put links directly into your comments that will also look like spam.

You must refer directly to the post eg if you were commenting here you could write something like:

“Hi Keith,

Thank you for explaining more about getting free edu links to my site and for providing a tool that saves me so much time and effort.  I’ve already found a shortlist of ten great sites that I’m going to make comments on and I’m sure my ranking is going to increase as a result.

Thanks again

Your name”

In other words take the trouble to find out what the blog is about, who the owner is and mention how you used the information they provided to benefit you.

You may strike lucky and find blogs that don’t require comment to be moderated, but I would still stick to leaving well thought out comments that will be acceptable to anyone. Think of it this way – is the comment you are leaving one that you would accept on your own blog?

I hope this helps you create plenty of free edu links for your site.

Keith

P.S.  Remember to mix in other types of backlink as well, don’t just go for the ones you think are best.
